ROLLING STONES veröffentlichen neuen Song

Obwohl mittlerweile alle die 70 überschritten haben (auch Ron Wood ist bereits 73), kommen die "rollenden Steine" nicht zur Ruhe. So einem Bandnamen ist man schließlich was schuldig.

So veröffentlich die Band akutell ihre neue Single "Living In A Ghost Town", womit natürlich die aktuelle Situation rund um Corona-Epidemie und die damit verbundenen Einschränkungen reflektiert werden. Ein Video dazu gibt es auch, wobei das, aus eben jenen Gründen, nicht so spektakulär ausfällt wie von den Herren gewohnt.

Dennoch:

Der Song ist natürlich als Download erhältlich, wie auch als CD sowie in Purple- und in Orange-Vinyl. Zudem gibt es auch ein T-Shirt mit dem Motiv.

Der Song selber nicht die momentane Krise geschrieben, sondern entstand bereits vor gut einem Jahr. Hier Statements von der Band:

‘‘So the Stones were in the studio recording some new material before the lockdown and there was one song we thought would resonate through the times that we’re living in right now. We’ve worked on it in isolation. And here it is –It’s called ‘Living in A Ghost Town’ -I hope you like it”
